Invest in Women

Next year, Kazana's friend and partner, Friends of Pastoralists (FOP), will establish and develop a center that will be used to train and equip 250,000 women, including widows and orphans, in Maasailand. The beneficiaries will be between the ages of 18-65 years. Participants will be no or low income individuals who have an interest in learning modern and advanced bead-making techniques. The skills training will be done at the center by master beaders and business experts, both local and international.

The comprehensive training will focus on bead making and entrepreneurship and business skills development for the participants. Graduates who exhibit exceptional beading skills will have their work featured and sold on KAZANA. This will assist them in generating income from their superior talent.
